จดหมายเหตุประเทศนี้

ผมกำลังนึกถึงการใช้ชีวิตในเมืองนี้

ความรู้สึกสบายใจ ปลอดภัย ซึ่งน่าจะเป็นพื้นฐานของรัฐที่มอบให้ผู้คนของเขา

ความกลัวในวัยเด็กที่พ่อและแม่เตือนว่า

“เป็นเด็กเป็นเล็กออกไปเล่นข้างนอกคนเดียวมันอันตราย”

เลยรอวันรอคืนว่าเมื่อไรเราจะโตเต็มวัยเสียที

หากเราโตเป็นผู้ใหญ่แล้ว เมืองที่เราอยู่คงไม่น่ากลัวแบบที่พ่อแม่บอก

แต่ยิ่งอยู่นานวันเข้า ความรู้สึกนั้นกลับไม่เคยหายไป

คำที่พ่อและแม่เคยเตือนเคยบอกว่า ออกไปเล่นข้างนอกมันอันตราย

ทุกวันนี้มันยังคงอันตราย และผมไม่ได้รู้สึกไปเองแน่ๆ

มันอันตรายขึ้นกว่าก่อนจริงๆ

คือการบันทึกข่าวสารบ้านนี้เมืองนี้ ที่ยืนยันได้เป็นอย่างดีว่าเมืองของเราน่ากลัวเพียงไหน

ถึงแม้คุณจะเป็นสุจริตชนคนหนึ่ง แต่อยู่ดีๆ คุณก็อาจกลายเป็นแพะ

หรือวันหนึ่งคุณเกิดปัญหา แล้วต้องการพึ่งพาระบบกฎหมายมันก็อาจจะต้องรอลุ้นอีกว่า

คู่กรณีคุณเป็นใคร กฎหมายจะแข็งพอกับปัญหาที่คุณเจอหรือไม่

ไม่ต้องพูดถึงปัญหาสังคมเชิงโครงสร้างใหญ่ๆ ที่เละเทะ

จนเยาวชนคนรุ่นใหม่ หมดความหวังจนอยากจะย้ายหนีไปเสียให้พ้นๆ

โรคภัยมากมาย โจรผู้ร้ายมากมี ผู้รักษากฎที่มีก็พึ่งพายากเย็น

จนบางทีก็อยากจะหนีหายไปจากโลกความเป็นจริงเสียให้พ้นๆ

ได้แต่ขอหลบไปปลอบใจตัวเองให้เย็นลงสักพัก กับความสุขเล็กๆ ในโลกจำลอง

 This is a letter to Thailand.

Looking back on my life in a city, I never felt safe or secure, which is supposed to be a basic human right.

Our parents' warnings that "you are too young and it is dangerous to go outside alone" struck a deep chord with me.

As a result, I had been waiting to grow up, hoping that once I was an adult, the city would not be as frightening as they claimed.

However, the fear never left me as I grew older.

I'm not sure if this is unique to me. However, the outside world remains as dangerous as my parents warned.

Actually, it is worse.

Keep Calm and Play More Games is a record of our country that can be used to demonstrate its danger. Even if you live your life honestly, you may become a victim of injustice one day. Or you could face a lawsuit from a large corporation or an individual whose law favors them.

Not to mention Thai society's seriously messed up macrostructure. Our young generation has given up hope and attempted to flee the country. The current pandemic, thief and robbery, corrupt government, and more have pushed us to seek refuge in our beloved gaming world.
